Welcome to The Angel Inn

The Angel Inn was born in July 2005 and has been owned and run by the same family since its opening.

We pride ourselves on providing the best of Lakeland hospitality in beautiful surroundings whether you are coming for a relaxing break, stopping off for a quick beer, sitting down to a long lunch or just popping your  if head in to take a look around.

Our Ethos is to provide a warm and friendly atmosphere with great informal service for all ages, whilst serving fantastic locally brewed beers, superb wines and freshly prepared locally sourced food.

We are situated in the very heart of Bowness on Windermere, a bustling village on the edge of England’s largest lake and are only a couple of minutes walk from the water and are set within our own gardens and grounds with fantastic views. You only need to stumble out of our beautiful garden to have access to all the nearby shops, restaurants and attractions.

We look forward to seeing you all at The Angel Inn.
